My idea - Nandoit71 - 14-07-2015 01:18am

Sorry....I use google translate...
The idea came to me when I realized that the slot is above the air vents, between them and the cover of the instrument panel.
My evoque no navigator, because I do not like aesthetically various navigators I preferred to use a tablet.
Hence the choice of the tablet which had the following characteristics:
- Small
- Without logo on the front
- A good viewing angle
- Bluetoooth
- A good GPS
Found !!!
But how to fix the car?
View the crack, I created a prototype plastic and performed various tests.
Tests were successful, it does not move.
I asked the owner (competent person serious and extremely available) of a car accessories shop in my country the prototype steel with the word and with EVOQUE logo evoque.
In less than a seventh did it achieve and, in my opinion, is perfect.
To the tablet, or even a telephone, they are applied the "hooks" plastic with adhesive tape, suitably placed so that it engages with the steel support.
For a mobile it is better to buy a hard cover.
The whole is absolutely reversible, there are no screws, glue and suction cups.
If you want you can remove the whole at any time or, if necessary, leave the steel support in place, given that, in my opinion, it fits well with the dashboard.
What you can do with the tablet?
Meanwhile browser, I use the sigyc, then video, record even the way you are doing given the position on the instrument panel and, above all, I find it amazing that you can hear everything through the car speakers with bluethoot
The following photos that will make you better understand what it is

Great Idea, do you happen to have the dimensions for this or possibly even any 3d files. I am going to try and 3D print a couple of these for users on the site.
