I'm happy for you as I know what this experience is like, keen to hear about the S14 ownership as I was/am contemplating it, being matched to the 9spd auto.

RE: 1st of March UPDATE - buckiebabyrr - 04-03-2014 09:36pm

Just an update, had a stag party over the weekend so didnt get much time for a review.

Our appointment was for 9am and when we arrived she was sitting right at the front and parked next to a white and black range rover sport looked quite cool with the two parked together. Anyways exccelent handover from the salesman he spent over an hour going through every function and detail with the car and we got it setup the way we wanted.
Since saturday we have done 100 miles and i must say the gearbox is the dogs balls really quick through the gears and also really smooth and i have to admit it feels quicker than my old focus ST from 0-60 and both have the exact same 2.0l turbo engine although fuel economy so far hasnt been the greatest but that doesnt both us much as we live in a small village on windy B roads.

Overall I am 100% impressed and pleased with the car as we were nervous with the amount we spent we still keep finding cool little things including the light than shines down from the mirror with the range rover shape outline.
Regards
Paul

Mate, believe me, you're not the only one nervous about spending Evoque-level money! Very Happy

This is going to be my first "luxury" vehicle, first foreign (to US!) vehicle, (and most expensive by a long shot) and believe me, I'm knocking on wood already and it's not even built yet!

I hope it goes well for you, like wise this was our first "luxury" car.
