Attached are the before and after (including the new black RR lettering). No smart comments about the (lack of) cleanliness of the car owing to recent snow in Bavaria!! Definitely €50 well spent Very Happy

How cool is that?? Looks way better 'de-chromed' for sure! I actually really like how the black finishers look against the Atlas Silver U Bar. Love it, nice job BFG! Thumbs Up Paula xx

Ok sorry to bring back a post from the dead but I'm thinking of changing the exhaust finishers to black too. Or at least I was until I saw the price!! Anyone got a source for these at a reasonable price? $520 each is ridiculous [emoji15][emoji15]

Hi,

I've had them spraypainted about 18 months ago, looks the same, paint hasn't come off. Had it painted together with bumper parts for like 350 euros. The exhaust tips only would have been <100 euros.
I would go this way again in a heartbeat

Good luck

Gosh, that looks sooo much better, not just the finishers but the entire bumper fascia...I'm leaning towards changing all those parts out, am disappointed with all the cheap looking plastic around the lower edges of my Prestige...I have to admit I was looking at a white autobiography that was only $2K more and assumed the Prestige would have a bit nicer finish than it came with. Was so difficult finding the color combo I wanted (Santorini Black with Ivory/Espresso/Ivory) that I really didn't pay much attention to the lower bumper areas.

Ah, live and learn so they say!

Might be a silly question, but anything special that needs to be done for painting the exhaust finishers? Any prep on the items, special paint, etc..
