If it is defective then yes as it is a vehicle defect. Landrover will only claim from the supplier anyway.

Can you post some pics of the defective seat so we can all see what it looks like?

Thanks

Here are the pictures, whilst i expect leather to wear and I keep being told it is a natural product, this does not look like natural wear to me, especially after 6,000 miles.

Sco77. My L322 Range that I bought new in 2003 doesn't look that bad and it's got nearly 100k miles on the clock. To me this looks like failure of the seat foam. If so, the real way to repair is to take to someone who can rebuild (install better) seat foam.

It was at the dealer for a service three weeks ago, I had to chase to get a reply, and they told me on Thursday that someone from land Rover came in and said it is natural, I think they are just trying to flog me off, very unhappy right now!

You might take it to a seat repair place for an estimate (and an opinion of what's wrong). If they confirm it shouldn't look like that given the miles, then you might go directly to LR. I bought a R Rover new in 1999 and pointed out to my dealer that I though the driver seat was wearing oddly. Service manager didn't even look at it and said: "Hey, if you feel you need it replaced, no problem. Just set up an appointment and bring it in." Needless to say these are the guys I bought my new Evoque from,

Could you compare your seats with those of a similar part exchange/used Evoque on the dealer forecourt? That may force them to take notice. Good luck.

Car has been back to the dealer, they had someone in to look at it, they are still telling me there is nothing they can do! I guess this is what happens when you pay 3 grand extra to get premium leather.

Your dealer needs a Hardware Upgrade.
