Pure eD4..

accelerating, all gears at all speeds... whole vehicle judders during acceleration. Tyre pressures ok, wheels balanced, steering straight. In the cruise the vehicle is smooth but a mechanical resonance has developed enough that can be felt through the steering wheel and after a few hours drive is enough to make the ends of your fingers tingle.

Somethings not right. Dropping into the dealer tomorrow. Not very hopeful.

Oh and the boots leaking, found water droplets on several occasions under the right side vent grille at parcel shelf level. Oh and several bits of trim have already come loose on the exterior so theyre not making a proper seal anymore, stuff like all the pillar covers.

Becoming rather annoyed and disappointed.

Anyone else got any of the above?

Is this under heavy foot acceleration or even during 'normal' acceleration?

Do you have a tuning box fitted ? (Sounds like what happens when too much diesel is delivered)

hi, both under normal and heavy acceleration. No magic trickery fitted, just stock motor.

Thanks for the line of thought.

So, heres what was found to be defective, front left drive shaft and front right wheel bearings shot. Interesting after only 19,000km
