I have been speaking with a dealer who has told me that LR are not taking orders, currently, for 5 door Pure models. Has anyone else heard this? Or is it just a dealer wanting to sell a dearer model

My dealer has taken my order for Pure 5 door, not sure what your dealer is doing.

I've been told I can confirm my order for a Pure in August for Dec delivery.
