Themac, yes it is a coarser leather but still soft and very hard wearing. I do not have any sagging in my sets yet.

But bak on topic, the badge on the grill just seems pointless to us all.

Excuse me, but the LR badge deserves to be there, it is all about the heritage of the marque. Without Land Rover, No Range Rover.

Let the Evoque wear the Land Rover badge with pride.

I also don't want the LR badge on the front grill. I thought they were trying to differentiate the LR and RR brands, and then they go and put an LR badge on a RR!

If it's stuck on then it's the first thing to go!

But the Range Rover and the RRS both have a LR badge on the grill - Land Rover is the manufacturer of the vehicle after all. I'm not sure if the black one is used on RR models and the traditional green on the LRs?

you might be right, but as a new comer to the brand im buying into RR even if LR is the parent brand.

I don't think Range Rover ever has been a brand in it's own right - I think the only brand has always been Land Rover, and Range Rover is actually 'just' a model name.

So in other words, it's like:

Ford / Mondeo
Land Rover / Defender
Land Rover / Range Rover
Land Rover / Range Rover Evoque

So it's not like a premium sub-brand, like Lexus is to Toyota, it's just a range of model names.

I stand ready to be corrected though!

It already says Land Rover on the back

Just been to my dealership and saw some pictures of the new seat option for the MY13 Dynamic model. They look the same shape as the standard dynamic seats but are covered in WINDSOR leather - either Ivory or Ebony (not 100% sure about the colour names)

I just looked at the pictures so I'm not sure about any other bits of seat spec, if any........

I am expecting an MY13 soon and I am pleased that the LR badge will be added, for those of us that live in the country it represents a great brand and has a loyal following.

I seem to remember somewhere that there was a poll of RRE owners and they were proud of the LR heritage behind the car so maybe it is recognising this? That said I imagine it will be a black badge rather than the standard green oval.

The slow seats were one of the reasons behind not getting the coupé (and being overruled by my girlfriend!) so I'm glad they are taking notice, even the dealer described them as ridiculous.
