Well had fun with the extra for the aero flip [url=http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Good-and-Bad?pid=61953]

I also don't want the LR badge on the front grill. I thought they were trying to differentiate the LR and RR brands, and then they go and put an LR badge on a RR!

If it's stuck on then it's the first thing to go!

Apparently my 20th August build will be a 2013 MY. I don't want the new grill and I want the the aero flip spoiler. Fingers crossed I can still have a 2012MY jsut need to be sure there aren't any other changes

Assuming its stuck on I will remove it eventually

+2 They can't even stick the badge on the middle of the grill which ruins it IMO so I'm glad it wasn't standard when I got my car.

RE: MY13 specs revealed - WB - 12-07-2012 08:31pm

All the mods smell of feedback from customer clinics and are simple ones that LR can implement without any major revisions... and they do love to keep changing the grills of course. Shame they're not being a bit more discerning and are caving in on the LR grill badge - come on Gerry it doesn't belong on the Evoque!!

By the way is any of this confirmed and does anyone actually know when the MY2013 cars will be rolling off the production line?

Delear told me today my13 would start rolling out on the 13th August after Land Rovers two week summer break.not sure if this is correct though.

The prestige leather has a different range of colours in "oxford" leather, which is thicker and glossier, and has more of the cockpit trimmed in leather, notably the dashboard topper. The seats themselves are in a single leather colour rather than two tone.

Actually, the Oxford Leather is much more Matt than the standard, I was parked next to a Pure the other day and looked in to look at the interior and the leather looked much Glossier than our Oxford Leather.

The pure leather comes mat from the factory. But as most leather cleaners have a Sheen to them, this could be why the pure you saw looked much glossier.

There are leather cleaners on the Market which will still leave that factory look after cleaning them.

I was also surprised at the extremely rough surface, maybe it was just a particularly bad set of seatsExclamation
