I have a snow foam lance, see my thread for pics, only used it once so not very experienced yet, and now the hose pipe ban means I cant use it!

Thats a very unfortunate situation now with the hose pipe ban, must make cleaning the car that wee bit harder now. Fortunate for myself, up here in the north east of Scotland it's too wet !! But saying that, wouldn't fancy the hose pipe ban myself.

What would you suggest for cleaning and polishing the exterior black plastic trim (mud flaps, door bottoms etc).

Singhy,

For the mat plastic trim parts these are what I use.

C4 Gtechinq. This is a sealer which will leave a permanent coating on plastic. Made for old dated trim, but will leave new plastic looking like new for longer.

C3 Gtechunq. This is a use any ware product, great for paint & plastic trim.

Meguiar's No:40 vinyl & rubber. From the mirror glaze range. Works very well on all things plastic, inside & out

Auto Glym Bumper Care. This gel out lasts most products on the Market & can be found in most car shops, only apply a small amount or it will leave run marks after it's been rained on.

Happy cleaning. Very Happy

Where do you buy Gtechinq products? It seems to me, you have to be registered professional detailer to be able to buy some of those...

Been using Autoglym Bumper Care since I had it already, only done twice in 6 months and looks good, and quick and easy to use.
