Evoque servicing costs - vinda - 28-05-2011 01:33am

I've been wondering about the servicing costs for the RRE and thought it would be v similar to the freelander 2 so decided to take a peek on their forum.

I've established that you must shop around to get a good price. Some people charged 400. Some 270. Same service.

I now assume as most of us will be the 1st batch of evoque owners, they will probably not price match and have pretty high servicing costs just because they can.

Are we gonna get robbed 12 months after getting our cars.

It will be so close to Christmas 2012!!

Cost of servicing is the last thing I'm thinking about. I just want to enjoy my new car.

I actually think that they may offer a service package similar to the TLC package the wife has got on her Mini. Makes a lot of sense to me.

Not having had a LR / RR before does anyone know if this is something they have offered previously.

On the Freelander we got offered a 3yr service package - upfront for just over £1200! Nothing free and I don't expect it to be so for the Evoque.
On all these things - Don't feel embarrassed, get a bit tight and supply your own oil - you'll always end up at least 'a curry' in the pocket, if not more.

Range Rovers used to be offered with a VIP package,5 years servicing & maintenance. My old TD6 had it,it was really good(brake discs changed every year FOC!).On my 2007 SC no VIP was available so now £400+ a year!!Rolling Eyes

BMW do one for the x3 for 350

Or 1380 for the plus service which includes parts.

LR is such a rip off
