Yes, that's one of the options I was considering, that it defaults to the correct position it should be showing after using it. If so, it is odd that LR don't set them up in the first place. Again, like you, I'm happy with its new position - it's still a bit of a mystery, though!

Just taken this pic 10 mms ago.

Hope it gets better soon. Sad

I can't find any camera options for screen sizes, so i put the car into reverse with the brake on looking through the rear glass trying to wiggle the lens from side to side to see if the lens was loose and maybe this would correct things but the fixings seem ok. I think it's possibly a software prob..

looking through the thread on this I can't see what the solution is? My camera has now moved and the view is exactly the same as yours, it was full screen before and I have no idea why it has moved!! do I need to take it back to the Dealers?

My view is still the same, I would give them a call, maybe this problem has now been sorted since I collected mine Dec 2011.

I would but I don't have the problem - was just trying to assist others - didn't realise that had already been posted elsewhere..

To bring this old thread back to life,

This is what my screen looks like:

Looks different to some on here and the same as others. Either way, I'm not keen on it. The offset angle looks odd. Picture quality is rubbish. The cameras must have cost LR about 20p. £40k car and I have a better camera in my iPhone.

Don't get me wrong, I really like my evoque but some things on it really wind me up. There are some shoddy, cheap components.

Strange, I'm always impressed with the picture quality of my rear view camera.

I get to see that much bumper too and that's how (without surround cams) I believe it is supposed to look.
