Front Screen and Seats - whizzer - 16-12-2011 09:15am

Anybody else dont like the front heated screen - Yes its great at getting rid of Frost but I really dont like the effect it creates with "bright" lights coming the other way especially in darker lanes etc ...

Also anybody else find the seats uncomfortable on the Dynamic - Having been in Audi's (rs/s models) for the past 6 years I dont find the seats that great at all - quite flat and uncomfortable to the fact I an even considering selling the car !!!!

Crikey, I've only sat in the Dynamic seats at the driving days and found them to be very comfortable and cosseting. Not seen any other negative comments about them though.

I find the Dynamic seats very comfortable and easy to adjust to the optimum position.

Mine are perfect.

Agree with comments about the screen. I had this on 1996 Mondeo and it really annoyed me. I can't believe this hasn't moved on in 15 years. Not on my Pure so quite happy.

I've got the heated screen on my D4 and quite happy with it in that I don't find it distracting - and I don't even use the heated function because my car is in the garage overnight.

The Dynamic seats felt very comfortable to me - similar to my BMW Z4M's were. Certainly much more supportive than my D4's seats are now!

Getting used to a new cars seats seems to be part of car ownership - and I'm also coming to the end of 12 year cycle of Audi seats (mostly Sports and S-Lines for me).

Some years ago I had terrible trouble with the seats in a Vauxhall Omega (was known as the Barge in our family) it was a company car and my employer paid for a trip to specialist in sitting postures ( I had asked for a Recaro seat instead.)

Like many people I used to drive cars with the seat fairly reclined and the front of the seat base cushion tilted upwards. This is apparently really bad for your frame - the end result was the seat base cushion as flat as possible and the seat back as near vertical as bearable. I was as cynical as hell - but the back and bum ache disappeared and I've been pretty happy with most car seats ever since with just a week or two of getting used to a new seat each time I change cars.

A big plus for LR against the competition is the heated screen. Never found it a distraction on the Freelander, and assuming Evoque screen will be the same.

I like the seat and fit them comfortable with jus the right amount of 'hugging'.

I had a heated front screen on a Ford Focus several years ago and I really used to notice the lines and it annoyed me, but the RRE is much better and I haven't noticed them at all.

The screen clearing so quickly on a frosty morning is brilliant Smile

No problems with either and I've sold cars in the past because of uncomfortable seats.
