Service package. - vinda - 20-10-2011 03:38pm

Just been offer a 3 year service plan from the dealer. £1200. Can be paid over 3years interest free. Mines a dynamic sd4 190bhp. What are you thoughts. Or has anyone else been offered one

So thats £400 a service....seems expensive to me but I've never had a LR before.

RE: Service package. - Token - 20-10-2011 03:46pm

What servicing does this include? Is it limited to miles / number of services etc?

Sounds like a good deal but the devil will of course be in the detail!

RE: Service package. - vinda - 20-10-2011 03:56pm

Was told 3 services.

Doesn't sound like good value to me.

I would wait ...... nick@landrover said they were putting together a "TLC type" package so don't get yourself tied into a 3 year deal when something half the price is due to come out anytime soon.

This does not sound a good deal at all, more like a rip-off by locking you in to a three year deal at full price. This is assuming the service is the same as an FL2, £400 is what I have paid to have mine serviced each year at a LR dealer.

I think the jist was it (the package) would be well in place by the time the first service was due.... that must soon as there are some fairly high milers out there.

That sounds like a rubbish deal. As an example I paid £1,400 for a 5 year or 60,000 mile full service package on my last car.
