Wheels from Freelander 2 will fit? - Alpenostrand - 24-08-2019 11:21am

I still have 18" 5-double spoke rims from my Freelander 2 in the garage, could I use these for winter tyres? Of course I have to add the TPMS vents to avoid the constant error message on the dash, but will these wheels fit on 2017 Evoque?

Probably not without spacers. Evoque wheels will fit FL2, but FL2 wheels don't have enough clearance for the DS and (presumably) the Evoque. There's been a lot of discussion of this on the DS forum.

Thanks for your reply, just noticed that the FL2 has ET55 and the Evoque ET45 offset. Doesn't make me happy now, looks like I need a new set of rims for the winter.

You could consider using spacers, although I don't like the idea myself. Plenty of Evoque wheels for sale in UK on sites like e-bay. You may be able to get a set posted to Austria and still be cheaper than buying new wheels. Tyre sizes are the same, so you can swap your tyres (and TPS valves) over if you buy the same size wheels.
