removing bonnet vents - RogB - 11-07-2018 09:16am

Hi all

ive done a search and cant find the info I need.

ive just got a Prestige Coupe with the bonnet vents fitted and want to remove them to spray them black.

it looks like they just pop out by squeezing the clips from underneath.

is this correct or is there more to it ?

TIA

RogB

See this thread, Sounds like there's 3 clips that are very difficult.

Cheers Phil,
I searched for bonnet vents but couldn't find anything about removing them. That seems to confirm what my initial look revealed.

I had a quick look at the vents and it looks like 3 hook clips and a couple of guide pins but ill have a closer look this weekend, Sunday is looking free for me now after the game last night Very Happy

have you got a link to the clips please so I can pre-purchase some just in case ?

broken clips aside, is it just a case of squeezing the plastic hooks from underneath and easing the vents out?

cheers

Rog

cheers,

managed to unclip the front half of the passenger side vent last night but I think there is another hidden clip holding the rear.

the driver side seems to be partially hidden by sound proofing
