has anyone replaced the rear discs & Pads on a 2013 evoque dynamic 2.2 diesel ?
Does anyone have a view recommending the best make (name ) as replacement?

Hi, Yes, done mine, used Brembo Discs and pads and happy with them.

Make sure you read up on the maintenance mode for the EPB before starting.

Hi I got it them from Euro Car Parts, just wait till they do a sale on brakes, as they have continuous 'special' discounts.

You'll need a T50 torx bit to remove the disk, and 17mm spanner for the caliper bracket bolts if memory serves me well.

I too also recently replaced my rear discs and pads with a set of brembo's from euro car parts. They had a 37% discount so I purchased rear discs and pads and also a set of front pads. Yesterday they had a 50% off discs sale so I ordered a set of fronts too. Basically buy one get one free!
My rears were due for a change because they were pretty low and squeaked. Replaced them but they still squeak occasionally or maybe it's my front pads. They have about 25% left according to JLR when I went in for a service. They quoted me nearly £700 for a full brake replacement haha. Got a whole set of brembo discs and pads for just over £200. Not the performance version, just the standard replacements but I prefer to buy a well known brand.
As for replacing them, it's pretty simple if you've done a brake change before. It did scare me a little when I got the rear pads off and noticed there were notches in the piston like it needed a wind back tool but previous diyers said it could just be pushed back and they were right. As long as you follow guides on the EPB, it's a doddle.

I agree Stilolos, didn't want to put £15 pads in a 2 tonne vehicle, hence going Brembo OEM!
I got the 37% deal too, and have a full set of fronts to do very soon.
Yes I have a Caliper Retraction tool from Screwfix for a about a tenner (Cheaper on e-bay), and really did the job nicely pushing the piston back. Beats ramming a big screwdriver between the pads and disc! and you cant clamp easily because of risk of damaging the EPB motor.
I found it best to start the 17mm bolts on the carrier before removing the caliper too, saves having it hanging somewhere to knock accidently while getting these to start as they were pretty tight.
