steering wheel controls

Hi guys

Picked up my evoque today and love it. However I have noticed that left side steering controls work fine when lights are off but when lights are on none of them work. All right side work but not left.

Am I missing something. (Settings)

Any help appreciated.

I might be totally wrong, but my left hand steering wheel controls sometimes dont work and from a process of elimination it appears to happen when it is dark. I think it is to do with initialisation of the hardware when the headlights come on but I am no expert so could be totally wrong.

I had similar problem left hand side not working .steering wheel replaced under warranty.been fine since.
