RE: my PURE sd4 Auto OG

mk82, I have to disagree with your comments. If you order the tech pack option on the Pure, one of the things included is the powerwash for the headlights no matter which ones are fitted

I asked him before. No xenons, hence the Oct delivery.

Great looking car. What are the 100% things your not to sure about?
Is it the grey grille etc (grey on grey).

RE: my PURE sd4 Auto OG

my point to mk82 was it's not just xenon's that have the light washers

Congrets on the new cae!

How is the ride, since it doesn't have Adaptive Dynamics? Is there big rolling in corners?

I like the front, just not sure about the back end. Just my personal view on the styling. I almost think they're a tad girlie.

But as a family car, with the 4x4 offering. For a grand some of 33,500 it takes some beating, with all the standard kit. I really can't see what car at the price point with the quality, ability and comfort that the evoque offers.

Girlie! With a masculine front. So good for us girls, you boys - and everyone in between. Congrats on you new arrival.

RE: my PURE sd4 Auto OG

The Evoque is an interesting one, because if we analyse the exterior design, i think it's fair to say that it's actually a very masculine design from front to back, due to the square, sharp, angular, and very chunky styling, not to mention the muscular flared wheel arches.
I believe any girly references directed toward it's design, might subconsciously be mis-interpreted and therefor,mis-directed because of it's compact size (the small = woman, big = man thing). Would anyone think it's girly,if the Evoque was the size of a X5,Q7 or Hummer etc?
The Evoque quite simply ticks all the boxes for my mind....i absolutely love the styling language, and i love the compact footprint (I think it has a tough anti-behemoth stance about it),plus it has performance, quality, luxury, and all-terrain capability.
This car suits both sexes in equal measure, and depending on which version, colour, wheel, etc you get, can ever so slightly tip the balance to one side or the other. Just my opinion anyway.
Enjoy your new ride!!! Just simply ENJOY!!!

RE: my PURE sd4 Auto OG

Finally some dSLR photography befitting of this vehicle. Next time, can you edit out the distracting vehicles on either side - the Evoque is worthy of a frame to itself Smile

And well said Benzina! The Evoque is truly moldable to reflect the owners preferences - I just hope I never ever see a pink one Laughing
