issue on evoque dvd/ usb - no picture but has sound

Hi All,

i need help!

just pick up my new evoque today and currently trying to used dvd/ usb to play movies. i am not getting any pictures, but only sound coming out on both in normal/ original dvd disc or in usb mode in a avi file.

The sales rep told me to register the evoque divx player first through their website in order to work, so i did and still doesn't work.

i followed the instruction until the last step which I got the download file and play it through usb to the dvd system and still the no picture and also i noticed through dvd setting under VOD still showing another new 8 digit code. So i guess it does not work.

Did i miss anything?

The DIVX registration thing is rubbish - your dealer is wrong.

You get sound but no picture when you're driving - I wonder I'd there's a fault and the DVD player doesnt know that you're not moving.

Take it back and get the dealer to sort it.

Have you tried a standard DVD, as mine plays Dvd and when driving only get sound no picture.

Not tried any other file formats yet.

Hi fam1x,

I have tried both std dvd disc and avi format, nothing works. i could hear sound only, test it while the car is not moving. Tried it in dual view mode, no luck at all. Maybe there is something missing file inside the dvd player in order to work. Probably software issue.

Currently waiting for the service tech to call me back and explain the problem. I hope it is a easy fix.
