RE: iPod & iPhone4&5 issues via USB

Ok so I think I found out what the issue with my USB and iPod port is.

A aftermarket rear view camera was fitted and they have it connected to the USB port for some reason, maybe power for the camera. Anyway this extra load on top of the iPod causes the system to detect an over current and shut down the port.
Trouble is Land Rover in Brisbane found the issue after finding a little black box down under the cup holders connected to the USB and rear camera. It's an aftermarket camera and thus no warranty claim...... It could have cost me but hats off to the dealer they didn't charge me at all.
Big thank you to Brisbane Land Rover!

Now to find a alternative supply for this aftermarket camera.
