iPod Browse function not responding

I seem to have lost the Browse function on the iPod Control Screen (highlighted in the photo below). Touching the button highlights the control and provides audible feedback as though it's working properly, but does not accomplish the function.

Has worked fine for a month, and now all of a sudden does not respond at all... Any ideas?

TIA

You only get it when connected by cable - not over bluetooth

I have issues connecting my iphone to the meridian sound system , the very first time i connect

USB only - i can browse folders etc.

The next time i do it.... I can't browse anymore... even the BROWSE button is there.
Clicking on it doesn't show me my playlist etc...

It works for me now... this is what you do:-

1. Connect your iphone 4S via bluetooth first...
2. Then plug in the cable to your iphone

You can then browse.

My current setup is better... I have my evoque hooked up to my old IPOD NANO.
Works like a charm!
