engine output confusion: data on TOPiX

I registered on TOPiX today and was intrigued with two items on my car.

The spec for the manual gearbox states "6 SPD MAN TRANS VOLVO M66 AWD" Does this mean it's a Volvo unit then? anyone know?

Also, I have one of the last TD4s yet the spec on Topix is "2.2L CR DI 16V 14DSL 190PS"

According to Wikipedia, the engine options and outputs for the Evoque is listed as: "Three engine options are available for the Evoque: two 2.2-litre turbodiesels producing either 148 bhp (110 kW; 150 PS), or 187 bhp (139 kW; 190 PS), and a 2-litre 237 bhp (177 kW; 240 PS) turbocharged petrol engine.[14]"

Seems my MY13 TD4 (one of the last) has the SD4 engine output. Interesting...Anyone else noticed this?

Think it's just a Topix 'thing' - my TD4 says exactly the same

TD4 engine is identical to SD4 engine, its just mapped differently, so topix will show this.

Or is the TD4 just a marketing badge and there is now only one variant of the engine. I drove an SD4 Dynamic yesterday and I could not distinguish any performance difference

A sponsor on here who does engine remaps recently tested the same car with both the 190PS and 150PS maps, he said with 4 adults in the car the 150 felt really sluggish compared to the 190. He did say the 150 felt noticeably less powerful than the 190 even with just a driver, but reading a lot of other people's comments on here and with my own experience, I don't think there's all that much difference for normal driving unless you're hauling a lot of weight or thrashing it.

The Map BAS showed on here up to 2300 revs the two are much the same, The TD4 runs out of steam after that, so normal road driving it's debatable you'll really notice it until you start to demand the torque, since most are concerned on mpg it's unlikely they are hitting the higher rev ranges.

No difference as far as I can see, towed my brothers transit van and it pulled like a train.

In the Freelander 2 Torque on TD4 and SD4 is 420Nm.
In Evoque for some reason it's 400Nm on TD4 and 420Nm on SD4!
