Window up/down from key

Hi all,
I know the Evoque has the ability to OPEN all windows by holding down the open button. Sensational.
However, please tell me i'm wrong by saying it doesn't CLOSE the windows by holding down the lock key???
Mine doesn't seem to work and i really hope it's just me and not the fact that some dim witted LR engineer decided to not add this feature!!

thanks

RE: Window up/down from key

Have you actually opened the windows from the fob?
The reason I ask is that I believe you can close from the fob too, but this window open/close facility needs to be activated. Thus if yours do open then you may have an issue - if they don't open then the option may not yet be enabled.

They definately open...just not close. So you're suggesting that they should?

RE: Window up/down from key

Not saying double click lock/unlock doesn't work but the manual has the following.

GLOBAL OPENING
Press and hold the Smart Key unlock button for 3 seconds to unlock the vehicle and open all windows.
Press any button on the Smart Key to cancel the operation.

GLOBAL CLOSING
Ensure that no children, pets, or obstructions are in any open aperture before operating global closing.
Ensure that all doors are closed. Press and hold the Smart Key lock button for 3 seconds.
The vehicle will single lock and the alarm will be armed immediately.
After 3 seconds any open windows will be closed.

@mnd - does your dog have its head out of the window still?
