Black was one of my preferred colour choices - having now seen it on video I feel you can't really see the design of the car as well as the lighter colours - dare I say it - Black makes the car look more ordinary to my eyes.

Love the DRL front and rear lights. Shame the indicators aren’t LED though - for a luxury car launched in 2011 a bit of disappointment .

I would like to see Barolo Black in the sun. My initial order is for a Prestige in Firenze Red but a Dynamic in Barolo Black might look ok. Issue with Firenze Red on the Dynamic is that with a red roof there is just two much red, we do not like the white roof. The charcoal on the bottom section of the Prestige looks so much better.

And of course it is a well known fact that RED CARS GO FASTER!

Cheers

Initially I thought the extra paint on the Dynamic made the vehicle look better, but I've changed my mind. The extra paint, in side-on view, makes it appear too heavy. The contrast between a lighter body colour and the grey plastic at the bottom lightens the overall appearance; the vehicle appears smaller; less 'slab-sided'.

No no no, it has been scientifically proven that a white Astramax van is the fastest car in the world in day to day use - Red cars might be fast but we can only dream about them.....................

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Transits with supercar engines are faster.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Transit
Quote:A modified Mark 3 Transit was also used in Top Gear Australia's Ashes Special and Top Gear (2002 TV series) series 16 episode 2, where Richard Hammond (UK) raced the van against a Holden VE Ute driven by Shane Jacobson (Australia) in a drag race. Unknown to Hammond and the Australians, the van was powered by a turbocharged Jaguar XJ220 engine, in addition to running on wheels from the same model.
