with no problem at all, doesn't even mind the powered tailgate.

You mean trunk? or back seat? Doesn't the trunk have something like a cover?

Normally we put our dog in the back seat, but am afraid that his paws might damage the beautiful leather seats lol.

I meant the trunk - his claws would definitely damage the back seat! I have a non slip liner in there which was originally going to be what I thought was a fold out liner from land Rover. Unfortunately the OEM rear bumper protector that LR provide has to be fitted on rails so it can slide out to cover the bumper while the dog gets in to or out of the car but I didn't want the rails as IMHO it reduced the space and might have been uncomfortable for the dog. I fitted an aftermarket bumper protector and it's absolutely perfect - see my other post!

No she goes in the trunk (called the boot over here) we have taken the load cover out and put one of her old beds
in there, she loves it.
I would never put her in the back on the seats, as there is to much room for her to be thrown about in the event of an emergency stop.

RE: What car did you have before your Evoque

Nissan Murano. Bought at the height of the last petrol price crisis for £19,999 knocked down from £32k. Faultless 50,000 miles. Great crv gear box and smooth and powerful petrol v6. Bit of a whale around corners. First tankful of petrol was the most expensive and cost £100 and didn't last very long at around 20 mpg but with effectively £12k off the list price I didn't care! Even got £7.5 k trade in for the Evoque.

Just today completed 10k in my 63 plate in 11 months. Absolutely faultless and no rattles. Just the paintwork issues on the near side wiper and the parcel tray. Averaged 35.5 on my return 500 mile trip to Exeter today. Pushed it a bit 80-90 where possible so very pleased with that.

Last 2013 SD4 Auto, Prestige, Pano, Firenze Red. Loving the USB shuffle.

BMW M135i auto.

Stunning, stunning performance.

Superb build quality.

However, had to get rid as I would lose my licence if I kept it.

Too many time looked at the speedo to find I was going much too quickly...Embarrassed
