RE: Video out capability on evoque infotainment?

Sorry, what I ment was the LR unit works under NTSC & any aftermarket cameras or monitors need to be NTSC (most can switch between the two, as in the UK we use PAL).

(PAL = Phase Alternating Lines), (NTSC = National Television Standard Committee)

The TV on the move box, will be needed to jam the CAM signal too the head unit which otherwise would cause the screen to be black when the vehicle is moving at speeds above 10mph.

Can't answer this one for certain. There is a third socket, I think it's for a TV input (pink socket) but I'm only going on what Pete from Bell Auto Services told me once. If so, you should be able to input any feed which is in the correct signal format on to the RRE screen **but this I have never tried** there are interface boxes that will switch input/output signals on the Market, but cost hundreds of pounds.

Doug - are you able to confirm if these connections (for the rear screen output, (2 sockets) etc are on the back from the Screen unit or the actual DVD unit as I understand the DVD unit is much simpler to get at/remove?

Many thanks,

Sewy

Sewy,

The SMB sockets are on the back of the screen
