RE: Umbrella

I have only ever broke down in a Disco 3 and to be honest it was well worth it, I got a ride home in a big truck with flashing lights and a top of the range Disco 3 HSE fully loaded with kit for 3 weeks from enterprise and £150 from LR for my troubles. Laughing

An 80 year old man was having his RRE looked at by the Recovery Vehicle chap, on the M1 hard shoulder where he had broken down. The recovery chap asked him how he was feeling.
"I've never been better!" he boasted. "I've got an eighteen year old bride who's pregnant and having my child! What do you think about that?"
The recovery chap considered this for a moment, then said, "Let me tell you a story. I knew a guy who was an avid hunter. He never missed a season. But one day he went out in a bit of a hurry and he accidentally grabbed his umbrella instead of his gun." The chap continued, "So he was in the woods and suddenly a grizzly bear appeared in front of him! He raised up his umbrella, pointed it at the bear and squeezed the handle." "And do you know what happened?" the chap queried.
Dumbfounded, the old man replied "No". The chap continued, "The bear dropped dead in front of him!"
"That's impossible!" exclaimed the old man. "Someone else must have shot that bear."
"That's kind of what I'm getting at..." replied the chap.

RE: Umbrella

As the rain umbrellas evolved into new materials, the use of them also evolved. In ancient times, only royalty used them. Umbrellas then gradually evolved as acceptable items for ladies to utilize. It wasn’t until the mid-eighteenth century that men really started publicly using the umbrella. Until that time, men using umbrellas were viewed as wimps or of questionable sexual orientation.Laughing
