On TOPIx there is a recent Service Message which may be relevant ...

SSM69638 - Customer requests a map update for a different country, Gen 2.1 only

However you will need a subscription to open this document, and unfortunately my sub has now expired. It's not cheap but you can get a 1 day access for a few pounds.

Thank you, i have payed for subscription ,but the result is this:

When a customer purchases a map for a different country they must be told at the time of purchase that this will overwrite the original map installed in the vehicle.
If at any point they or a future owner of the vehicle wants to convert back to the original map i.e the one installed when the vehicle was built, they will have to purchase another licence.
It must not be claimed through warranty.


Nothing new ...

Ok my question is if i found a crashed vehicle from Germany with European specs. which part i need to take from it in order to have Europe navigation on my US Evoque?
