Tracking Target stickers...............

No, Guided Missles have not been added to the Evoque's 2015 options list! As one does, I was looking at something on the LR website and found the use for something that I thought had been left behind by the production line teams as something needed during the build........

If you have a recently bullt car with surround cams and Tow Assist fitted, if you look in the boot well you should find what looks like piece of grease-proof paper with a triangular self adhesive sticker with 3 large black spots printed on it............

Don't throw it away, it's isn't something left behind by the production line teams it is a part of the above systems and costs £4.95 to buy. It is listed in the Disco4 towing options as Tracking Target Sticker " Required for vehicles fitted with surround cam with tow assist - price does not include dealer fitting" Price of sticker £4.95, price of fitting £56+vat............... I don't see it mentioned on the Evoque options of the LR Website
I assume that you are meant to stick it onto your trailer adjacaent to the towhook as something to aim at when backing up to the trailer to hook up. There's no mention of it in my Owner's Manual, but I was going to throw it away not long after I took delivery of the car as I thought it was a piece of scrap left over from the build!

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
