RE: The end is nigh

New car goes into build on the 1st May, with delivery to me hopefully on the 11th. Only 2 months compared to 6 for the Evoque.

The Evoques replacement arrived at dealers on Thursday but this bank holiday weekend is delaying things, hopefully Saturday or Monday I should take delivery.

Here it is in the dealers compound.

Again it's been a pleasure to have been a part of the babyRR family. My evoques been a fantastic car and I will miss it.

Farewell for now, I will pop back every now and then.

Here it is in all it's splendour. My first impressions are good, feels very smooth compared to the Evoque but then it was running on 20" rims. I do miss the sportscar like handling of the Evoque, seeing the corners of the bonnet and a lot more roll in the bends is taking a bit of getting used too. One thing I am dissapointed about is the dials have a nice white glow but the centre consel and steering wheel controls are that out dated green colour, although a bit paler, but overall it's an improvement over the previous model years.

That's a great colour, J- will look out for you on our Fife country roads, and will give you a wave, either in my current FL, or the Evoque in July.

That's gorgeous, J77! The Mauritius Blue is one of my very favourite colours and I hope you have many happy miles and smiles with your new FL. We have loved both of ours, they are great 4x4's. Don't be a stranger from the forum, I've found your posts both very informative and entertaining in equal measure. All the best. Smile
