This link seems to be working, but nothing for Land Rover

Let's hope they are upgrading the website!

Thanks. I contacted the US division by phone. The person I talked with was aware of the website problems, wasn't sure what the problem was, but said they weren't in any hurry to fix it and are likely going to abandon the website, or at least the name. They are undergoing a name change for the business, and their new website will reflect that.

The bad news is, there is not an Execuhitch available for the Evoque. There was, but he said there were design flaws that they may be working to redesign in the future, but he couldn't guarantee it. In so many words he told me not to hold my breath Laughing

Anyway, guess I'll just have to go the traditional route and be forced to cut my bumper Confused

Maybe if a new design does materialize in the future I'll just buy a new bumper and install the Execuhitch at that point Cool

FWIW- I did not have to cut my bumper when I installed the Curt hitch. I did have to cut the heat shield (some just take it off and leave it off).

I do not have a pic of the heat shield cuts, but here are a couple of the finished install.

Have searched the internet to death and cannot find an answer to this question. Does anyone know what the deal is with the Evoque and trailer (electric) brakes? As I'm aware, most cars have something under the dash where you can plug in a third party brake controller. I haven't looked as yet (nor called the dealer) but in the interest of using the power of the internet, and perhaps helping anyone else too lazy to make a phone call - does anyone know the deal?

thanks for this.. have just purchased a tow-trust with detachable swan neck and genuine 13pin Range Rover Electrics. Great Advice much appreciated, the only extra I have added is a tow bar electrics test unit from Amazon for £14.00
