Rear Vew Mirror Loom - High-Beam Assist

Hi guys,

I'm going to attempt to retrofit High-Beam Assist to my 2012 Prestige. I believe I will need:

* Rear View Mirror with HBA camera
* Edit the CCF to enable the HBA Software Logic

Am I right in thinking the wiring loom is the same? I can't see any different part numbers or a different loom for with/without HBA.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

It's your descission. I have HBA as an option on a 2015 Evoque. I think it switched on the highbeam 10 times. Sensitivety cannot be adjusted, so (for me) it isn't worth the money.

I had it on my Jaguar XF and really miss the feature. We don't have street lighting where I live.

While it's not a necessity, I would like it nonetheless. I just need to know if the loom is the same...

The auto dilming mirror is doing what it is supposed to do. But with the black tinted windows, it makes not that much difference.
I need HBA 80% of mu night driving, but I (almost) always have to switch on the high beam myself. Another nice feature on the list of options, but in reality it is no good.
My dealer checked the HBA when the car was new (because I never saw it working the first couple of months) and told me everything worked as it was supposed to work (just like the start/ stop works as it is supposed to work... NOT).
