RE: Has anyone here put on 22" wheels yet?

My current car is a holden commodore ute with 22" wheels with 30series tyres and has been lowered 2" front and 2.5" rear, i admit i feel the road a bit more but well worth it as I like my car to stand out from the average.

Being in a warm climate all year round I don't need to worry about winter tyres and I never plan to go off road so for me it is all about the look. I do like the look of the wheels available but I also want something different to every tom, dick and Harry's Evoques, plus the cost of a 20" wheel is more expensive then buying an aftermarket wheel.

And phillskill who made you the the CEO of who can buy and modify cars.

Just my 2 cents - Seems like for most applications, 22" is the maximum you can go in terms of beauty. Anything larger kinda looks cartoony. There's enough pics on the net and vids on youtube which demonstrates this.

Looking at my stock 19"s...they look too small. I think 22s with a drop (no gap in the wheel wells) will work but the max for the size of the car. I'll probably go aftermarket 20" or 21" in the Spring. I think I know which ones I want or at least vcruiser knows which one I'm trying to get if they ever return my email.....Laughing

5 star with a lip...nice and simple without being busy or with all the bling. Not bad......I don't see anything wrong with it.

Agree Lionhead, I think it looks good, simple and not over the top. Nicely restrained
