Service message reset for MY16

Does anyone know how to reset service alert on my16 Evoque?
Of course i tried my15 procédure (hold trip button and service menu down during 10s).
But not success
In addition, the service message appear only After 10000km (6000miles).
My Evoque is a my16 TD4 dynamic ba9 150hp.
Service for new 2.0l ingenium is every 36000km (22500 miles) or 2 years.
I want to reset.

RE: Service message reset for MY16

Take care, although the service intervals around every 21000 there is an oil dilution reason that the service indicator comes up, too much oil dilution (Due to DPF regenerations) means you need new oil.

It something LR have said the dealers should do once for free (Contact LR customer services) the dealer will check the fuel ratio in the oil, but you should check with your dealer rather than just reset it and carry on regardless.

RE: Service message reset for MY16

Thanks for that info PhilSkill.

I had the same message on my car, its only done 10,000 and is far from its scheduled service so just got it checked by the dealer along with a few software updates.

Gege34, If you turn on the accessory (push button without foot on brake) you can go into vehicle information and see the distance to the next oil service and the distance left for your AdBlue levels. This option only shows up before you start the car.

RE: Service message reset for MY16

HI, I found this procedure on an other forum.
I was able to reset the schedule service.
Before reset, The distance to next oil service was 2000km (and 5300 for adblue).
After reset, The distance to next oil service is 32000km.

here is the procedure :

- Set the ignition to the ON position (without foot on brake pedal)
- Open the hood.
- Open the drivers door. NOTE: A service resetting message will appear on the instrument cluster. => nothing appear for me, just message HOOD OPEN, DOOR OPEN.
- Fully depress both the accelerator and brake pedals and hold for 10 seconds.
- Set the ignition to the OFF position. => the engine start because I didnt release my feet on brake and accelerator.
- Set the ignition to the ON position and check the message has been cleared. => I switched Off the engine, and switched ON without feet on pedals.
=> message is cleared, and next service is 32000km.

of course Next service is not good now ! because I have already 10000km done. but I have no problem to remember Next service will be at 32000.
Thanks

RE: Service message reset for MY16

Hello Everyone!

I already tried the following procedure to reset scheduled service.
But I wasn't successful.
Even service notice didn't appear in step 3, after opening drivers doors.
I have Evoque MY16 (Diesel).
Is there any alternative way to reset that?
