Running I phone through 8" screen

Got this one and it goes in the back of screen as shown in first post.

I use this unit to convert the HDMI signal from the apple mirroring adapter.
Have been hanging my nose over a kivic one but they are $ 285 to ship from Korea, cool bit of kit though.

RE: Running I phone through 8" screen

On the disco you connected the fakra lead to the head unit and plugged a iphone av lead into it. Apple video to fakra and apple Audio to the av car input.

Never used a box of trickd but it was a fath using the secret menu to get the video screen on

You might be able to bluetooth the sound?

The kivic has an av out. This will go straight into back of screen via the fakra lead. Really want one but just feel $285 is a lot of money for what it is. An Apple TV would work too and that is only £99. That needs an inverter to power it though. It all starts to get messy with wires and stuff.

So the Fakra cable will plug in to the back of the car.

I have the LUX pack so all parking cameras. Will it still be vacant the end port?

Probably not. You will need a splitter or a switch of some kind.
