Ride height

Just out of interest does the Evoque ride much higher than a normal car? When inside the interior size feels just like a normal car but on my test drive we went round country lanes without seeing another car so I was unable to judge how much higher my ride would be.

RE: Ride height

The seating position is higher so you do climb up slightly and do look over other "normal" cars, but not by much...

RE: Ride height

And it doesn' have the command driving position that you might initially expect so it feels very much more car than SUV. It's something I still haven't got used to.

RE: Ride height

Same side ramp/obstacle clearance as Freelander.... And identical wading depth. But as someone once described, you sit in an Evoque seat and not on it as with the Freelander seat.
