RE: Relay.fuse powerfold mirrors

The Mirrors are wired from and controlled by the Drivers/Passenger Door Modules.

The Fuses for the Door Modules are 32 and 8 in the Passenger Fuse box

Hi, I've been looking at upgrading but tried to avoid removing door card before ordering.
What do you mean by the ccf file?

Thanks

The ccf file is what land rover use when car is built . also know (as build file) this file contains things like wether it has halogens vs xenons .powerfold mirrors etc you can sometimes get a independent dealer to do this for you for about £35 to £60 or buy yourself your own tool and do it yourself.but i would check to see if you have the loom in the door first before buying mirrors.the door card is quite easy to get off.just get yourself some plastic trim tools so as not to damage anything.i didnt break any clips when i did both of mine.think that was more luck than out you can buy door looms just depend how far you want to go.

Its quite strait forward remove door panel.remove mirror replace with new one replace every thing the important bit is reprogramming the the ccf file to regognize mirrors or they will not work

Just wanted to add reprogramming the car yourself will be dependant on the age unless you want to shell out alot of money for softwre.tools subscription etc as the software used has been
ajusted to download alot of files from online now

RE: Relay.fuse powerfold mirrors

Hi, My car is 2013 Pure. I am trying to remove the door card so I do this only once ... I know how to do it however each time its removed there is a chance of damage. I need to order parts from abroad (generally UK) so want to have the bits in hand.

I have found fairly cheap powerfold mirrors but haven't seen the connecting looms - if someone can post what they look like maybe they are easy to make up.

Thanks for the information, I'll start looking for a pair of mirrors now!

Mike
