It is a fine looking car.

Just one point, we ordered before the price increase of the pano roof but was told by our dealer subsequently as the car wasn't in build we had to pay the increased price I thought fair enough if thats what the rules are!! We ordered 1st week in July and were told there and then we wouldn't get it until March 2012!!

I ordered mid June, but it didn't get as far as the factory until mid July and I was give a build date mid August (which hasn't slipped btw!) I paid the price I was quoted in June. Maybe different dealerships have different rules?

That seems very odd to me, you clearly put a deposit down when you ordered.

I understood that fixing/holding the price was Land Rover policy, I clearly got my dealer to show me the wording on his computer, which essentially said any option price increases would not be applied to orders placed prior to increase.

If I were you I would be taking it further.

Doesn't seem right to me. Got a dynamic on order and the price was fixed when I ordered it with my deposit. Think your dealer trying a fast one to squeeze out a bit more profit for themselves....
