Let me know how you go cleaning them as well.
I have the same wheels as you and they are a ?!$& to clean as is!
Think I will give this a try. Have heard you can apply Glossifier to make the Matt black glossy as well?

Yes, you can use the glossifier at the end. I have a can which I haven't used yet - I'm waiting for the rain to stop

Without using the glossifier, Im not sure how consistent the finish will be.

Will give an update if & when.

My latest modification:

Sprayed plasti dip on the rear letters and on the diffuser

With regards to the wheels - I've had the plasti dip on for 2 weeks and I have already started seeing little pieces peeling away. I'm not sure if the wheels are the best place to use plasti dip or maybe I didn't spray on enough coats. Anyway, I have enjoyed the black wheels and will probably go to the next stage and get them permanently sprayed a high gloss black.

How many layers of plastidip did you do ? Per wheel I did about 6 (1 whole can) and 4 layers of glossifier and didn't have any issues at all... Even washing/scrubbing down the surface. My advice, peel It off, prep the surface real well with isoprepsol and do It again. Also leave the wheels off the car for 24 hours so that it has time to cure. Happy motoring then!

Latest modification.

I bought a second set of style 5s and had them powder coated gloss black.

Also, I bought a set of OEM gloss black wheel nuts.

I'm now finished with my modifications.
