RE: Orkney Grey Prestige SD4 with Couture Interior

Hi Griff - I would like to change the "default" setting - it should be OFf by default - or permanently,... I hate this "eco" sh**,...

Brings nothing in real mpg and is bad for engine.

No it saves fuel, I came back today through lots of traffic lights and it was amazing how much the engine was off, it starts in the time you can press the clutch, its very different from starting from cold and ignition off, so not as bad as restarting your engine constantly by the on/off button. Stop hating it, ignore it and it really doesn't cause a problem.

MmmmmMmmmmmmm,... I do not drive in such traffic and I hate when engine stops without my command Wink

SUPER ANNOYING for me and I would be very grateful for an information how to bypass it/switch it.

There is the ECO button which disables it, just press it the light goes out and hey presto no start stop (ok you need to do this every start up). Or put it Dynamic mode... (If you have it Very Happy )

Oh and Nice car Deeside!

Nice photos.

It's like waiting for a bus. I've not seen any pics of the Cherry interior and all of a sudden we have two forum members posting pics.

The options on this car seem endless.

As for Eco I hear if it shuts the engine off for longer than 3 seconds you real benefit on the fuel consumption stakes, but I guess not everyone will like it.
