Bill, in case you want solid roof racks for the RRE where you don't have to permanently mount the factory rails THULE makes a nice set up for our RRE's. That way you can easily take the entire system off and not have to put up with aero drag or the sight of the factory roof rails when you aren't using them. Once you have them fit to your vehicle you can remove them in about a minute and store them in your garage. They are lockable and you can get many accessories for them depending on what you are hauling. I currently have two stand up bicycle mounts, the SUP board mount and a mount that enables you to carry lumber/PvC, etc from the hardware store. And I do not own stock in Thule, just a quality system that is very sturdy and will last a lifetime.

Hi, I am aware of the THULE racks but to be quite honest, I quite like the look of the roof rails but thanks for your advice.

Cool Bill, please post a pic once you have them installed. Are you going with the bright or black factory roof rails?

Once I can find some at the right price (OEM or other) they'll be black ideally with black cross bars (better with Dynamic)

Sounds nice and agreed the black will look good on the Dynamic!

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but Bill did you ever install these KITT rails?

What were they like?
