New to the Evoque and have some mods in mind...

Good day fellow Evoque owners! This past weekend I brought home a new 2015 Evoque Prestige in Santorini Black with Ivory/Expresso interior! Great vehicle and the sport mode with the paddle shifters are fun. I'm a bit disappointed in the lower front and rear end finish though...looks cheap and "plasticky". Here's what I'm considering doing:

1) Painting the front and rear bull bars in bright Atlas (to match side vents, grille and upper tailgate moldings). Having a devil of a time finding the color code, LR wont give it to me either. I've heard all the reasons why they won't share the color but all BS to me, I own this car and if I want to customize it and make it my own I will do so. (just have to have a BS match it for me I guess).

2) Deciding on adding the SS skid plates or painting the dull grey stock ones black. With the bright bull bars I'm leaning towards black, but the SS plates look way more upscale!

3) The hood vents look awesome and I did see the cut outs for them when I had the hood liner off last night...would be a bit nervous about cutting into the bonnet though!

4) Rear bumper fascia upper piece that surrounds the rear fog lights...looks cheap and don't care for the chrome aftermarket ones...anyone seen this part in gloss black?

5) Front fog light black plastic inserts - also look cheap, any options to replace these with better looking panels

6) lower front grille plastic pieces look cheap, any aftermarket pieces for these...have searched but not found them yet.

7) Finally, swapping out the 19's for stock OEM 20's, anyone know where I can get new take off OEM's in the States? Have only found the (OEM look alike) aftermarket rims to date and not sure I trust them...

Lots of questions I know but appreciate your feedback and except for the above nits, really like this ride!

I wondered about this. I wondered if you could buy them as spares and simply stick them in the right place?

Excellent! So, let's say I buy them, stick them on and then they start to look a bit crap (they are undoubtedly cheap rubbish), how would I get them off and would it damage the paintwork?

Sounds like you need to look into buying the Black Pack front and rear bumpers

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Interesting, would you mind pointing me in the right direction? Would these be Dynamic parts...

Another question, I've noticed my Prestige has the gloss black beltline molding with the side (rear view) mirror signal strip in dark smoke...I can't find any notice of this in the window sticker (standard or optional) features...is this part of another package?

thx!!
