New order

Placed our order with Guy Salmon Aylesford very early March for a SD4 Barolo Black with contrast white roof, Lux pack. Paid our deposit and given an expected delivery date of July. I have to say I am disappointed that we walked out of the showroom having ordered a £45+ car and have heard nothing since not even a written copy of the order with a formal thank you for your order. Must be great to have so many orders you don't have to try!

That was my experience last September. I complained to the Sales Manager and suddenly started getting updates. You should definitely complain.

I would be jumping for joy at no news, knowing you are getting the car in July, I placed my deposit 6th Nov 2011 and I am being told more than likely I will have my car by the 1st of June. I think you are one of the Lucky ones

Yep mine 2nd Nov 11, expected delivery Mid May 12

In general the dealer will not contact you until he has news for you such as when he can put yours on the manufacturing order for build., you will then have limited time for changes. He will then give you a build date.

My dealer was upfront and said when I placed the order, he would contact me in Feb (with news) and he did.

Order 2/8/2012...march 23 build date. May 8 delivery
Got a call today delivery next week

Love the black car, white roof combo - looks amazing - just like mine!

LHD Say no more

Lack of info seems to be the general form and something i have found very frustrating.
At the minute Im in the position that after much pursuing i know my car was built on march 30th yet i still have lno delivery date or even a clue as to where the car is right now.
My advice-stay on the dealers case

Paid my deposit on 22/11/12 and still waiting for the call to place my order. Been told July delivery likely. Had to call in recently just to sit in a showroom Evoque and remind myself what is in store!

Your delivery date seems sooner than others have had to wait on here kentboy, good luck!
