New owner - question about A pillar

Hi all,

Just purchased a 2018 evoque dynamic lux. When opening both front doors I can see five holes on each side on the A pillar. Are they supposed to have some clips in them ?

Thanks,
Steve

RE: New owner - question about A pillar

Probably but JLR are suffering financial issues so couldn’t afford to fit them on your car!
Suggest you take it back to the selling dealer for rectification

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: New owner - question about A pillar

Just tried to photograph mine but cant get anything to show clearly

There are definitely fixings in these holes .. possibly a plastic pop rivet type fixings

So I would follow the advice here and go back to dealer.

Hope this helps

Thanks all. Got it booked in. Since then the trim on the passenger side fell off to reveal broken clips glued on! They are going to replace all the trim now.

Screen replacement sounds likely. The screen is genuine but I think the date code means 2019 made (see below)? Car was built Oct 2018.
