Good news for uk customers.

Heard most evoques built from job1 are for the uk. Being held until september to ensure top quality. Hate teasin you but they are going to be spot on. Be patient with us we are taking good care of your babies. Top gear review was ok. Overplayed ms beckham designing interior. She did flowery trim only. Btw no customer car has it yet. Uk customers have more taste than vb it seems.Heard most evoques built from job1 are for the uk. Being held until september to ensure top quality. Hate teasin you but they are going to be spot on. Are any of these production units from Job 1 being sent to dealers as demo's? and if so, when they will be received by them? Thanks..

Good to hear from you again, we thought LR had wrapped you up in duct tape and thrown you in the skip Laughing

It is always good to hear any 'inside' info but not sure that Evoquemaker would have information about cars at dealers. Might be worth starting a new thread for James at Lookers to read if we've got any general dealer questions about demo cars etc. As long we keep it general and not 'when will I be getting my car!' It could be that Evoqueexpert felt bombarded with totally irrelevant questions he couldn't answer....

or maybe he's on a long holiday Laughing

i've just seen Richard Hammond on video, looking like his struggling a bit to get out of a Coupe and he's just a little hampster Laughing

Getting in and out is not a problem ... Once the seat is forward. Also, there is plenty of legroom and headroom in the back for a hampster wheel if so required.

Yes, i agree that you can fit, Richard Hammond and a hampster wheel in the back of Coupe with the seats right forward, but best to put paper down first Wink

RE: Good news for uk customers.

I would think lots of peoples cars are ready, they are just not going to be delivered to the relevant dealers until the beginning of September. Hopefully, as Evoquemaker says, to ensure the initial quality is good and to put things right on the line that might not be right!

Prestige, 5 dr, SD4 Auto, Firenze, Lux, Ambience, Adaptive Dynamics, (+other options).
Current cars: Evoque: 1972 Stag: 2008 C4 Grand Picasso x 2: 2004 Defender 110: LDV flatbed (for moving the Stag)
