I think anything "LRX" is going to go over the heads of anyone other than the real Landrover officienados. I'm new to the marque and it's wasted on me!

Chuckie, LRX was the design exercise that turned into Evoque. Google it and you will see just how close the design was to being a road going car.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

I have to admit when I first was thinking about number plates for the Evoque I said H15 LRX in my head as when a local dealer to me once sold me all my new MG's & Rover's they owned the plate H1 SMG (his mg) = nice.
I liked the LRX idea but I mentioned it to one of my customers who always has personal plates on his car & it didn't come over to him with any meaning at all which kind of put me off really as I was hoping for a wow scenario.
Strangely I found it on Ebay a day or so later & have watched it ever since & came to the conclusion that it wasn't of much interest to most as it just hung around. Still wouldn't mind it never the less! Confused

RE: H15 LRX Cherished plate for sale

The plate always gets plenty of views and 2 or 3 watchers each time I list it on E-Bay and I think I`m quite realistic in the pricing compared to others ? Had the LRX concept name materialized into the production name , I`m sure the plate would have sold for ££££`s Whilst I understand that the name LRX doesnt mean a great deal to Joe public , those in the know ....know . The majority of the general public probably still dont know what an Evoque is and struggle even more with the various permutations of EV ?? OKE type plates out there meaning not great deal . I`m open to sensible offers and can have the new keepers name listed as a nominee within minutes of payment received via my DVLA account ?
