RE: Finance - Best Option

Wow!! Interest rates seem high in the UK. I'm kind of shocked... we financed through a local bank for 2.39% for 72 months. We always aim for the lowest payment but usually pay twice the amount due- incase hard times ever come about. Does range rover not offer competitive rates for their own cars? I know here in the US they are still not competitive as our local or national banks...

I know cash is king however I do not have 40k sitting in the bank. I can put down upto 10k deposit however i don't think there is any company that is offering anything lower than 8.1%. I have tried oracle/prestige and many other companies but no luck. May have to bite the bullet and go for the 8.1% i've been offered I think.

If you go this route, just make sure you can refinance at a later date, when rates go in your favour, so check early repayment charges etc as well.

I looked on line at loan rates and found Yorkshire and Clydesdale banks both offering loans at 6.4 percent APR.

RE: Finance - Best Option

Just tried capital finance who have quoted me the best so far at 7.4% however they do charge a brokerage fee of £399+vat. I would take out a loan but the maximum amount you can loan is 25k...meaning I need to put up 14k as a deposit hence why I am looking at a PCP.

RE: Finance - Best Option

Got mine on order now but a family friend has been quoted for a £35k Pure SD4 5 door on a PCP 3+60 £575 p/m with GFV £10k or 3+48 £575 p/m with GFV £13k. Both seem expensive.
