Evoque Pure Tech - DVD's & In Motion

Hi all,

I have got my Evoque Pure Tech on order for Match 1st collection!

I have a couple of questions regarding the ability to watch DVD's through the in dash screen - I've not added the TV or duel screen option, but does this mean I can still watch DVD's on the screen (when not in motion unless I buy the add on interface to bypass this?).

Also, having a read through some other threads it seems that it is possible to add a rear screen / 's which will mirror the front screen (ie for watching DVD's etc)

Does this require the SMB / RCA adapter which plugs in the back of the CD/DVD unit and then you just run a normal (yellow) RCA video lead to the DVD screen in the back??

If my the Pure Tech like I'm getting does have the capability of playing DVD's then I will be looking to buy one of the 'Video In Motion' interfaces to enable this to work while on the move.

Does anyone have any feedback / experiance of these and how well they work at all?

Many thanks,

Matt

Ok great, thank you.

That's what I was hoping to hear! I am thinking of the getting one of the 'Video in Motion' devices which you connect and this allows the DVD to be playing all the time (even when driving).

Of course this is for the passanger only as I don't have the dual screen option! Very Happy

Does anyone have the TV/DVD in motion device fitted at all??

Hi Sewy, did your DVD work in the pure tech? I am picking mine up in a couple of weeks and am keen to find out. Thanks

Yes works perfectly mate.

Screen is on and displays picture but goes back to menu screen when you get over 8-10mph but the did carries on playing and screen comes back on when you stop etc.

Really want the video in motion but can't justify the £115 odd at the moment!

Cheers

I can't believe what I'm reading here.
I hope you guys don't hurt anyone as a result of wanting to watch things instead of concentrating on driving.

I know that Sat Nav or radio take your eyes off the road momentarily too but movies?
