Dynamic front tow cover under bumper detaching

Hello,

I had a problem with the front tow cover my Evoque's front Dynamic bumper, the piece is attached underneath with 2 screws but just with some 'clips' on the front, and it fell off while driving and got badly scratched on the road

Has anyone else had the same problem ???

Thx

I knew the roads were bad in belgium...

Just kidding. That sucks. Probably the screws slowly unwinded themselves. Maybe they weren't tightened enough from the factory.
I'll check mine aswell. Good luck with the repairs

Hi,

Yes, check it... the 2 screws underneath are fine but it's the front 'clipping system' wich is poor...
Try simply to push it down... If it too easy, it's not good
I think mine got a few bumps from other drivers while they were trying to park in front of it, but hey this is fixed to a BUMPER so it should be designed to take it...
We'll see what they say at my RR dealer

They are attached by the dealer after delivery to their premises as the towing eye is exposed during transport so that the car can be towed if required.

ditto here. mine came loose a few days ago at the top end (the (stupidly) clipped end) and somehow ended up dragging on the highway. i had to pull over and undo the two screws underneath to take it off. haven't done anything about it since, but in case it's useful, here's a snap i took of what was stamped on the plastic:

My one got damaged in a long stay car park, didn't look to bad so just left it as dealer wanted £1200 to fix, not long after it came off but took fixing screws and attachments with it. Thankfully never got round to repairing it and hit a deer a few month later. Think there is someone on here that can supply the covers, think they were just over £100 then need paint.

It happened to me today. I called a service center and they said they have not heard of it but they will replace it.

What is the name of the dealership that is replacing it?
