Dynamic exhaust tip bolts rusted

Trying to remove my exhaust tips on evoque dynamic 2013. The bolt are rusted and really struggling to undo them. As the exhaust tips are connect to the plastic bumper don’t want to be too rough. Any ideas what I can do been trying WD40 but still not budging!

Any help would be great

Thanks I’m advance

RE: Dynamic exhaust tip bolts rusted

Try giving the nuts not the bolts some heat. In tandem with the WD40.
eg: heat nut briefly, then stop, then try to see if there's any movement with the spanner, if not then WD40, and then repeat with heat/WD40 and so on.
Mechanics use this technique to free up rusted bolts/nuts.

RE: Dynamic exhaust tip bolts rusted

I removed mine when I needed to drop the exhaust to get my Haldex out. After removing the chrome surrounds I then removed the panel they were fitted in to. If I remember correctly, I could have removed the panel with the chrome finishers still attached. Why don’t you try that and then you can get at the finishers more easily.
